Yesterday I was honoured to give my talk on Under Milk Wood in what was once Dylan and Caitlin’s bedroom at the Boathouse in Laugharne for International Dylan Thomas Day. And I am delighted to say that it went really well, the audience enjoying it and being treated to tea and Welsh cakes outside afterwards, with those stunning views across the Laugharne estuary making it even more special. Huge thanks to Toby at the Boathouse for his hospitality and coming in specially to open up the house for the audience.

I was also excited to be able to see the bust of Dylan that was once owned by by other hero, Richard Burton. A great day.

I am indebted to Cofgar/Carmarthenshire Museums for giving me this opportunity. Thanks also to Gareth Davies Photography for the photos and support. If anyone want this, or any of my other talks (with several more being developed), please do get in touch.
