On Wednesday 6 December I am taking part in a series of Christmas readings at Narberth Museum. The evening will consist of both poems and prose and will feature works by such well known writers as Dylan Thomas, TS Eliot, Wendy Cope, PG Wodehouse and Carol Ann Duffy, amongst others. I have seriously enjoyed pulling this together and this is the second part of a series of Dylan Thomas related events coming up at Narberth Museum as part of my curated exhibition Titbits & Topsyturvies. This exhibition is showing the work of artist Seimon Pugh-Jones, based on characters from Under Milk Wood, as well as original film memorabilia and a picture by Nicky Wire from the Manic Street Preachers. 2023 marks both the 70th anniversary of Dylan’s death and the first reading of Under Milk Wood. Watch this blog and Narberth Museum’s Facebook page for further information on forthcoming events!
I am delighted to be working with the other readers – Meredydd Barker, Emily Holiday and Emma Baines, herself a well-regarded poet and also former member of the museum staff.
Tickets for the event are only £5 and there will be drinks and nibbles!
