I was recently employed as a freelance researcher by a television production company to research the history of the Welsh political party, Plaid Cymru. It was most definitely a learning curve and a fortnight of fascinating digging into the whys and wherefores of 20th and 21st century political manoeuvring. My research skills certainly came in handy in tracing the party from its development in the 1920s through to the present day. Some very interesting stories to tell, and I am looking forward to the programme being aired. I might even get a credit!
