About Me

Now working freelance in the museum, heritage and art gallery sector, after 29 years at Tenby Museum & Art Gallery, being their first professionally-qualified Curator. 

I am experienced in interpretation, community work, research and writing, social media, podcasting, exhibitions/displays and art gallery curation. I have a proven track record of successful grant applications and delivering grant-funded projects.

I have mentored museums through the Accreditation process.

I have excellent interpersonal and collaborative working skills and a creative mind. I am based in beautiful Pembrokeshire and remain passionate about its heritage, its arts movement and environment.

I am dedicated to the 7 goals set out in the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act (Wales). 

Also a creative writer, I am a published author and several of my dramatic pieces have been performed at various events over the years.

Associateship of the Museums Association (AMA)

NVQ Level 2 Warding & Visitor Servicesfirst person in Wales to take qualification and only second in UK. Awarded City & Guilds Bronze Medal for Excellence for Best Portfolio. Portfolio then used as standard of excellence for future students
