Emma and I were really pleased to attend the celebratory event with our friend Angela V John last night at Aberavon RFC, for the launch of her new book Behind The Scenes: The Dramatic Lives of Philip Burton.
Really pleased that her book is gaining much deserved recognition with the new film Mr Burton now showing at cinemas. And it was great to be in the same room as Richard Burton’s granddaughter!
Thank you to Angela for the personal invite and for signing our book. Looking forward to reading it, as I will be involved in a Q & A session with Angela in late September as part of my planned Richard Burton Festival in Tenby.
